UPDATE 2:30pm 12/14/09 - Raymond Wilson II has been charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of three Angelina County residents, Sheriff Kent Henson said. Henson also identified the victims as Lisa Zumwalt, 42, Douglas Wade, 65, and Sherry Wood, 47. Henson said early indications show Zumwalt, a girlfriend of Raymond Wilson II, called Wilson to tell him she had a sexual encounter with Wade and Wood. Henson also said Zumwalt attempted to call the sheriff's office number but was apparently shot before she could make that call.

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX – Three people were shot dead at a residence in Rivercrest Community, just north of Lufkin on Sunday evening.

Angelina Co. Sheriff's deputies arrested Raymond Wilson II, 45, of Lufkin for allegedly shooting two females and one male. Authorities aren't releasing their names until next of kin is notified. Sheriff Kent Henson said one of the victim's was Wilson's girlfriend, the other two were good friends. Henson said it appeared alcohol was a factor in the shootings.

In an unrelated incident, Henson said sheriff's deputies responded to a call concerning Wilson Sunday afternoon.

Countless neighbors and relatives gathered around the grim scene Sunday night. Wilson's family members expressed shock that authorities believe he could be connected to the deaths of three people they say were his close friends.

"There's nothing that nobody can say that take it back, that can bring the lives back, can't bring my uncle back. So what can be said? Another one bites the dust," said Julie Wilson, suspect's niece.

Wilson is behind bars. Authorities said he is a suspect, but as of Sunday evening no charges were filed against Wilson.
