CAYUGA, TEXAS (KLTV) - Cayuga head coach Tommy Allison must eat his lucky charms.  Allison coached Adrian Peterson as an assistant in Palestine.  Now he's the coach of the state's all time touchdown king.

Cayuga senior Traylon Shead has been selected to play in the 2010 Army All American Bowl.   It's a huge honor for the nation's top high school players.  Only 90 players in the country are invited to play on national television next month in San Antonio.

"I think I'll be nervous because it's the biggest crowd I've ever played in front of and on t.v. too," said Shead.  "So I'll be pretty nervous."

Shead joins a list that includes names like Adrian Peterson and Vince Young.

"I can't comprehend it right now," said Shead.  "Later on I know I'll comprehend it and be real honored just to be in the same category mentioned as those other players."

"It's really special," said Allison.  "It's great for our school, great for him and he's a great young man. So good people deserve great things and he's a great kid."
