Trial Date Set For Minister Accused Of Murder

A trial date is set for an East Texas minister accused of murder. Mike Tabb is to appear in Judge Diane Devasto's court in Smith County May 1st. In January, a grand jury found there was enough evidence and testimony to show Tabb intentionally caused the death of his wife, Marla Tabb.

The indictment says Mike Tabb strangled Marla with an unknown object and struck her with a hard object. A guilty verdict in Mike Tabb's murder trial could mean anywhere from 5 years probation to life in prison.
