East Texas Christmas parades

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - East Texas communities are getting into the holiday spirit, hosting their annual Christmas parades. Add the time and place of you town's parade in the comments section below. Here are a few we know about so far:

Longview: The Annual Christmas Parade held in downtown on Thursday, December 3, 2009 starts promptly at 6:30 pm.

Tyler: The Tyler Jaycee's Christmas Parade is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd at 6 pm in downtown Tyler.

Kilgore: The 79th Annual Kilgore Christmas Parade is scheduled for Monday, December 7th at 6:30 pm.

Marshall: The Mar-Tex Lions Club Annual Lighted Christmas Parade is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8th at 6 pm.

Wills Point: The 15th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade will begin December 5th at 6pm in downtown Wills Point.

Lindale: The Rotary Christmas Parade begins December 5th at 10 am in downtown Lindale.

Mineola: The Christmas Parade begins at 1 pm December 5th.

Quitman: The 2009 Christmas Parade is being held December 5, 2009 at 3:30 p.m.

Henderson: On December 3rd at 6:30 pm the Henderson Christmas Parade begins.

Sulphur Springs: The 5:30pm parade begins in Buford Park on December 5th and is hosted by the Loins Club of Sulphur Springs.

Arp: The parade begins at 6 pm, December 5th and will be followed by Christmas in the Park.

Mt. Pleasant: The Rotary Christmas Parade begins on Saturday, December 5th, starting at 5:30 and followed by a "Holiday Extravaganza" located on the square.

Jacksonville: Annual Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 3, in downtown Jacksonville, beginning at 6 pm. The parade will be followed by the lighting of Hazel Tilton Park at the corner of U.S. Highway 79 and Main Street.
