Radio station donates 100 turkeys to PATH

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The charity called, People Attempting to Help or PATH are getting a big turkey-leg up.

Friday, the Hot 107.3 JAMZ crew dropped off 100 turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving.

We're told radio funny man, Steve Harvey actually bought the turkey's for the station to help out the East Texas charity of their choice. PATH will donate the turkeys to families in need through out East Texas.

"Thanksgiving and Christmas are our busiest times of the year and to receive our donations of turkeys is really an amazing thing it will benefit a lot of families," said Beverly Andrews, the PATH food pantry manager. "It's an amazing gift that Steve Harvey would think of us and allow us to be part of this mission is a wonderful honor."

The turkeys will be distributed starting Monday to families and individuals who qualify through PATH's assistance programs.
