LONGVIEW, TX ( KLTV) - The "Spalon-a-thon" fundraiser was for eight-year-old Shay Hall, who has sarcoma and massive medical bills. Hundreds of East Texas got the hair fixed, nails manicured, and toes sparkled at "Rumors Spalon" in Longview.
Thanks to the generosity of East Texans, a little boy with cancer, has $10,000 to help his family with medical bills.
"We have a lot of cancer that runs through our family and so we've had a lot of hardships," said fundraiser participant, Lacey Ames. "We just wanted to support other people that have had that hardship as well."
"I just want to thank everybody for coming," said Shay Hall.
If you would like to help Shay, you can make donations at Texas Bank and Trust in Longview. The account is called the "Shay Hall Medical Benefit Account." Rumors Spalon is also having a bake sale all week.
The donations from the bake sale will go towards Shay's medial bill account.
