WebXtra: TEA Party Patriots farmer relief rally hits Tyler

By Philippe Djegal - email

Released by the Mt. Pleasant TEA Party:

Tea Party Patriots™ Farmer Relief & Freedom Relay coming to Tyler!  It's time to come to the aid of our fellow patriots!

What:  Grassroots America - We the People will host the Tea Party Patriots Farmer Relief & Freedom Relay, a caravan of farmers and speakers from the San Diego and Central Valley Tea Parties crossing the United States to call attention to the eco-tyranny of the US government in violation of the private property rights of the Central Valley farmers.

Why:  This is a Nationwide Call to Action to focus attention on how environmental policies and court rulings have devastated California's Central Valley farms and surrounding communities.  In 2009, the protection of a shiny bait fish in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta  has cost California's Central Valley farm economy more than 35,285 jobs; $1.6 billion in revenue, and a 40-percent unemployment rate in towns surrounded by parched fields.

Only an act of Congress before the end of 2009 can suspend the Endangered Species Act in the Delta and open up water supplies for the 2010 growing season.

When:  Friday, November 13 @ 1 PM

Where: Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 10818 University Boulevard (Spur 248), two miles from Loop 323 intersection.
