Ribeye Philly Cheese Steak


8" Sub Roll, 6oz. Shaved Ribeye steak ( or shaved steak in substitution), season salt,  4 oz. sauté mushrooms, 2 oz. grilled onions, 3 oz. cheese sauce.


Sauté Mushrooms:

1 lb sliced mushrooms

4 oz. butter

2 oz. beef base

1 clove chopped garlic

1 teaspoon white pepper

1 oz. red wine

Sauté mushrooms in butter and garlic.  Add beef base and white pepper let simmer for 3 minutes.  Add red wine and simmer 1 more minute.

Grilled onions:

1 large red onion sliced

2 oz. butter

Sauté onion till transparent

1. Grill bun

2. Grill shaved steak dust with season salt to taste

3. Coat bun with cheese sauce

4. Add hot shaved steak on bun

5. Top with mushrooms and onions

6. Enjoy
