Twenty-five years ago, Mrs. Gertrude Windsor of Tyler saw the opportunity to create a clearinghouse where individuals and families in need could go to receive help with daily living expenses, supplies and counseling. Thus PATH was born - People Attempting To Help - KLTV's Community Spotlight for November. Twenty-five years later, PATH has an established program that addresses the needs of thousands of east Texans. While PATH has several well known programs and services including Coats For Kids, School Supply Train, and the annual Fan Club, there are more than a dozen other services designed to reach every segment and demographic in need in the area. As great a scope of the services PATH delivers also great are the needs of the organization. Monetary contributions, supplies, and your time can all be used to serve those in need through PATH. The holidays will bring even more need for the services that PATH offers so get on board now and help fulfill the mission of PATH. We have a link on our website where you can learn more. People Attempting To Help - doing just that for 25 years and KLTV's Community Spotlight making this a Better East Texas.
