Tyler Police asking for East Texan's help

TYLER, TX - On Tuesday, September 29, 2009 two trucks were stolen, one from the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Super Center on Hwy. 64 West, and one from the parking lot of Sherman Williams Paint located at 1290 SSW Loop 323.  Investigators have recovered the stolen vehicles in Tyler and believe they were stolen for the contents that were inside the vehicles.  The suspects had taken several blank business checks, a handgun and other small items from the vehicles.  The suspects then forged the checks using stolen Id's at several businesses in the Tyler, Canton and in the Dallas area.

The suspects (W/M, W/F, H/M) were seen in a gold colored Saturn Station Wagon as they left several businesses in Tyler after forging checks to obtain merchandise valued at over $2,000.00.
