TYLER, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas woman competing in the Texas State Fair gets an unexpected judge for her event.
Christina Gilbert of Lindale was competing in the baked brownie division at the Texas State Fair when two unexpected judges arrived: Oprah Winfrey and Gail King.
Gilbert got to have a brief one on one conversation with Oprah and says it was a moment she'll be telling people about for a long time.
Gilbert placed in her division, getting a $500 gift certificate for her effort.
On Monday, we will air Oprah's episode from the Texas State Fair. That will be at 4 o'clock right here on KLTV 7.

A wreck on Broadway in Tyler is causing traffic delays. The wreck occurred at Broadway and Rieck Road and involved an 18 wheeler, according to police. Tyler Fire has shut down all lanes of traffic while the semi is moved out of the road. Tyler Police say the road should re-open soon. Please avoid the area if possible and seek alternative routes.
