MARKED TREE, AR (KAIT) - Officials with the Marked Tree Police Department officially charged a man of 14 counts of rape Thursday.

According to Detective Jeremy Bond, Gaylon Hinds was arrested Wednesday on charges he raped a 12-year old girl and her cousin.

Detective Bond said he received a complaint from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division on September 30th, alleging that Hinds had sexual encounters with one of the victims 10 times between July through September.

Hinds took a polygraph exam Wednesday. He was interviewed about the rape allegations again on camera.

According to Detective Bond, Hinds admitted to the allegations with one victim but he denied having sexual encounters with the second girl.

District Judge Ron Hunter issued a $250,000 cash only bond and a no-contact order with the victims, their families and anyone under the age of 18.

Gaylon Hinds will appear in Circuit Court November 23rd at 8:30.
