(Cassandra Denise Fryar),is a beautiful Christian:Mother,best
friend,sister,Aunt,cousin.She is loving,understanding,and most of all;she
is very unselfish. For our Fifth Anniversary, she surprised me with a Suite
at the Isile of Capri(decorated with balloons, caffeti and floating
candles.I can't give her alot but she appreciates what I can give her. She
has always been by my side, through all of our trials and
tribulations.Words simply can't explain why Cassandra is "THE BEST"! There
is not a day that goes by without me getting on my knees and thanking GOD
for finding me worthy to be Cassandra's SoulMate!
What makes my
husband so special is that his love has been unconditional
for me and to prove it. I have always been obese until just recently had
and am now -113 lbs. My husband's love for me is special because I feel
he has to
truly love me. Afterall, he loved me even when I was miserably larger
than I am today.
We celebrate our 25 yrs. of love together on Aug.10th.
He is the
sweetest man alive, so tenty, brings me coffee to my night table every
morning, if he goes to bed before me he turns the covers down on my side,
he always puts me first in everything..He always thinks of other before
so thoughtful, wants to know what he can do for me,does so much around the
house without being asked to do anything.Brings me roses for New years
eve, birthday mother's day, and many times just the the heck of it
because he doesn't think he has done it for a good while..
He loves me and He is the love of my life...a girl couldn't ask for more.

that makes my husband unique and romantic actually has nothing to do with
me personally; rather, the way he treats our children. He's always worked
2 jobs to provide for us financially, but more importantly so I can stay
home with our 2 children and homeschool. He amazes me every night with
his storytime. It's usually a story about his heritage. If one of the
children has disobeyed, he always incorporates a "moral lesson" without
naming one of them. No matter how tired he is, he always has time for
"wrastling" and a bedtime story. Thank you, God.
My Harold is so
special and thought full. Fifften years ago his dad was very ill and
dying. We were with his dad. On Valentines night he slipped a heart
necklace under my pillow. He was not preoccopied by the illness of his
father to show me his love.
Three years ago he went on a Mission to to Mexico with a group of men
from our church to build a chuch for a poor commuinty. After he left I
strated feeling sorry for myself that I wouldn't get anything for
Valentines day, He suprised me and had prearranged flowers to be sent to
me twice while he was gone.
We have been married 38 yrs and it seems just like yesteday. I love him
for his kindness and thoughtfulness.
What Makes Your Spouse So Special? (100 words or less): My husband is
very special in so many ways. He's 72 years old, a minister and he never
lets anything get him down. He's a strong and positive role model for me
and our kids. He's directing young children in the right direction. He
believes in sharing the responsibilties around the house like cleaning,
cooking, washing dishes, etc. He is the kind of husband I wish upon every
women who wants love, happiness and a lifetime of devotion. He is unique
in so many ways.
What Makes Your Spouse So Special? (100 words or less): My sweetheart
is the worlds best and deserves a great
reward. We were high school and college sweethearts
and then went our separate ways. Now, 31 years later
we've married. He not only pampers me but is so caring,
supportive and always there for me and my grown
daughters. He makes everything fun to do with him,
whether you are getting hot and sweaty clearing land
or enjoying breakfast in bed. And he is full of
surprises....like the picnic he set up at a little waterfall
one moonlit night. I know God created him just for me.
My wife is in
essence, the perfect complement to me. She is wife, best friend, and mom
to wonderful daughters. Together now for 17 years, we have loved and
loathed, blamed and forgave. We have spent countless moments dreaming
of the perfect vacation together as a family, then reveling in the
reality. My wife is special for the nameless reasons that I wonder about
but can’t describe. She can become a friend in an instant, a lover for
life. The world smiles when she is present. I smile just thinking of
her. She is special indeed, my friend, my wife.
March 11th I
will celebrate my 3rd wedding anniversary with my first love after 23 yrs.
of being apart. There is no way to tell my story in 100 words or less but
if you go to http://debbiesmiracles.com/about.html you can read the
"AMAZING" story in just 7 paragraphs. It is nothing short of a miracle.
I'm in the process of sending my story to the PAX network show "It's a
Miracle" with Richard Thomas. If you have a problem going to the URL above
just go to www.debbiesmiracles.com and then go to My Personal Miracles
page and there you will read Miracle in a dream. It is an absolute true
story! I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my anniversary. Thank
My husband is
so special because he has sacrified a lot for me. After proposing to me
in October 1999, three months later I was diagnosed with cancer. He
married me earlier than what was planned so that we would have time
together before my chemotherapy and radiation treatments would begin. My
husband cared for me through my treatments. At present, I am in remission
and I feel it is because of my husband's committed love to me. He is a
true gentlemen and my best friend. I am thankful to be his wife and for
is enduring love.
WORKS TWO JOBS,BUT FINDS THE TIME TO LEAVE ME LOVE LETTERS,MONEY IS VERY

TO TELL HOW ROMANTIC HE IS,BUT SURFICE IT TO SAY HE STILL COURTS ME,LIKE

HIS WIFE OF 16 YRS. LIKE HIS GIRLFRIEND.
My husband is a
romantic. He writes me poetry on birthdays and anniversaries.Just this
past December, (our 25th wedding anniversary was 11/26/02) he booked a
cruise, arranged for me to be off work for a week with my boss and took
care of all arrangements without me even knowing about it until the day
before the cruise left Galveston. He knew that was something that I
dreamed of doing. He knows how I like for him to dress up. He rented a
tux and took me to dinner. He's great!!
Once upon a
time on April 5, 1994, an ugly duckling meet her Prince Charming at a
singing contest in Tyler, Texas. A last minute invitation from a friend
became a quirk of fate that would change my life forever. An enchanted
meeting that would have even made Cinderalla cry.
My prince, a cowboy named Charles Richard "Rick" Penney, a man with a
voice of an angel and a heart to match.
On August 5,1994 we were married and the Fairy Tale continues.
Anyone who knows Rick would agree that his best quality is his big HEART.
He is gorgeous, intelligent and talented, but his heart stands tall above
his other outstanding qualities. He always has a smile and a kind word
for everyone. He is a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. As a
husband of a teacher, he as spent the last 9 years serving as Cheer
dad,DJ,voice coach, taxi driver and counselor to many of my students. He
has spent hours giving of his time and talent to help my school and the
community. So you see why his heart is his best quality and why I love him
Sincerly from the heart,
Tina Marie Penney
I cant put my
finger on just one thing that makes my Maggi romantic. But I can tell you
that some of the most romantic times we have had were suprise overnight
Over the past 17 years I have suprised her a few times and because of
recent events in our life I havent beeen able to do so. When she is
suprised with a romantic evening she gets the most beautiful smile and her
eyes light up. I just cant get enough of her smile. I guess I am saying
that makes her romantic is the two of us togather.
What Makes Your Spouse So Special? (100 words or less): my wife carrie
is so special to me because first of all she is my best friend in the
whole world.i can always talk to her and she always there to listen and
can cheer me up when i am always down.she can make me laugh to tears on a
verity of subjects. she always puts others before herself and gives a
helping hand to others in need with out asking for anything in return and
still makes time for our family.
My spouse is
special because of his abundant KINDNESS to me as well as to everyone he
meets. He loves people and it shows in the way he talks, listens, and
interacts with them--young, old, rich, poor, men, women, black, white,
brown, or yellow. He has spent his life caring for others (as a physician
of the "old-fashion-type"). We have been married for almost six years. I
was an "old-maid", until I met him and we married when I was 54 and he was
70. He makes life so good and so sweet.
What Makes Your Spouse So Special? (100 words or less): Our first
anniversary Michael gave me, not one, but six anniversary cards. He said
every card reminded him of me and how much he loved me. He hid them all
over our house for me to find. Fifteen anniversaries later, and with a
million times more responsibilities, he still calls me at least once a day
to tell me he loves me. He says often that he takes me for granted, but he
never leaves me without a kiss. He holds my hand and tells me I'm
beautiful daily. I think I'm the one who takes him for granted. I am a
very lucky lady.

great friend, wife, and mother.i would love to do something like this for
her on valentines since this was when we met. thank you robert
My husband is
special because he is the spiritual leader of our home. He is steadfast,
trustworthy beyond a doubt, honest, a rock to stand on, a shoulder to cry
on. He keeps me grounded when I might not see beyond the moment. We have
raised two beautiful daughters. He has provided for us and kept our cars
running (how more romantic can you get!!)He has given me flowers and
jewelry. He once said that if he could have written a song for me it
would have been "The Wind Beneath my Wings". But the most romantic thing
he has ever done is love me because I'm me.
has sent me so many beauiful cards and notes over the past two years it
takes hours to read them. We both are workaholics. Monday through Friday
we each work at stressful careers. Many days are over 14 hours at work. He
sells building materials to contractors, while I am a lead teacher for an
adaptive behavior unit. Saturdays are made special by meeting at the local
cafe for breakfast. My two girls, age 18 and 20, join us with their
boyfriend and husband. My sweetheart plans the projects which we all work
at until about 5 P.M. Those projects might be moving my oldest into a new
apartment or planting rose bushes in my yard. Every week the young people
see what working together will acomplish. They also have been taught not
to call us on Saturday night because that is our DATE NIGHT. The Love of
My Life, Tuck Moon, models for young men how to treat a woman. He always
opens my car door even when I'm in jeans and riding in his truck. He knows
that I get paid once a month and surprizes me with a full tank of gas,
knowing I've parked my car 10 miles from his house, while I ride with
someone to night classes. I return to find the car washed and full of gas.
I went out of town one time to return and find a new flower bed planted in
my yard. I think what I mostly appreicate is the time he takes reading all
the cards on the rack, choising a speacial one, with just the right words
I need to hear. Most of them are bought blank and he writes the ones that
come from his heart.
Sorry I couldn't do it in just 100 words. 100 words do not do him
Billie Carol Clary
What Makes Your Spouse So Special? (100 words or less): My husband
grabbed me and spoke words I will always remember. "Living with you is
like trying to out guess The Three Stooges," he said, "it is never dull."
Is my husband John the most romantic guy around? Extravagantly
amorous? Wildly imaginative? Fanciful? YES! He shows love in many
ways. His steadfastness, faithfulness, kindness, compassion, intelligence
and humor create a blanket of love that makes me feel like the most
important, most beautiful and most desirable woman on earth.
What about him? Even a grumpy old man needs love and I am just the
woman to tickle his fancy.
What caused me
to fall in love with Rob was the Jesus I saw in him. He reflects Christ
in his love, compassion, caring, concern, peace, patience, kindness,
gentleness. Rob serves as a music minister and goes to school full time.
I am a homeschool mom and work part time. We have very little time to
reflect on each other and the love we share.
We have experienced many difficult time during which
he is my angel who sings to me,reads scripture to me, and prays with me.
Our children are a reflection of their father's unselfish compassion
One of the many
romantic things that my husband does for Valentine's Day is he always has
a scavenger hunt for me. He sneaks home early and hides several gifts and
hints throughout the house. He hides clues with every gift that will lead
me to the next gift. Some of the clues range in difficulty from very easy
to very hard. If I ever need a hint he says that it costs one kiss. Some
of the gifts that I have gotten over the years are gold earrings, flowers,
lottery tickets, collectibles and much much more.
You said it
could be his build or his eyes
But it's oh so much more than something as simple as thighs
It's that look he has when he walks through the door
Which only makes me desire him so much more
It's those stolen moments when he centers in on me
Putting aside the kids, work, and all interfering possibilities
The most romantic thing is his passion for Christ
That shows him how to love me for the rest of our life
A night alone would be such bliss
Without little eyes watching every time we try to
My spouse is
special to me because of the way he loves and cherishes our child. He is
kind, gentle, loving and respectful to everyone he comes in contact with.
The way he takes care of us. He makes me so happy in the smallest little
ways. Not with physical things but emotionally. The way he tries so hard
to make us happy all of the time. He is an awesome father, husband, lover
and best friend. Those are the quailities that make my husband so very
What makes my
husband so special to me is that we are truly best friends! I can't
explain how wonderful it is to find that someone that I believe God had
chosen just for me! I knew I was in love when we first started dating but
I really fell more in love with him when we had our first daughter. It
was then that I began to realize what a wonderful man I had married! We
share 2 wonderful daughters together; raising them with such a wonderful
Father is such a joy. His love for his family is unconditional and that
is why I love him so much! Rarely do I ever get to express to him how
great a Husband and Father he really is; this get-a-way would be a great
way to show him what a true blessing he is in my life!
Roamnce is my
husbands middle name! He often takes me to the lake when no one else is
there, to watch the sunset. There are times when he blindfolds me and
takes me to some of my favorite places, just to see me smile. We recently
had our firtst child and immediatly after he was born, my husband knelt
down beside me and whispered in my ear," You've never been as beautiful as
you are right now." My heart melted! Everyday he shows me how much he
loves me through all of the little things that he does. So, now that we
are limited on time with eachother, I want to show him in a big way, just
how much I love him.
Jude Carpenter, can be the most thoughtful, romantic man ever! One of the
most romantic things he ever did was on our 8th wedding anniversary. I
was about 4 months pregnant with our 4th child. I had a prenatal
appointment right after work. He told me that he would pick me up, take me
to the appointment and we could go out to eat or something. I thought
that sounded great. But to my surprise, and I do mean surprise, he had
made arrangements for my parents to keep our 3 children over night, he
packed a bag for me...(and actually didn't forget anything...he packed my
clothes for work the next day, my make up, all of my hair products and
devices :o)). Once we left my doctor's appt. we were "supposedly" going
to The Outback..when he took a wrong turn I began getting a little "out of
sorts" with him...you know how a pregnant woman can be when it comes to
eating! :o) Then he pulled up to the house on Charwood that I had my
wedding portraits made at...it is now a Bed & Breakfast...he had made
reservations for us there in a little cottage in the back! It was
incredibly romantic! It was really special being the same place that I
had my wedding portraits made at.
My fiance is
disabled and confined to a wheelchair. We have 2 kids together and depite
his disability he is and active father in both of their lives. He cares
for our 8 mo. old son and 5 yr old daughter while I go to work. While at
work he will send me little e-mails that will brighten my day and when I
come home from a long day of work he has the kids fed, bathed, and settled
so I can relax awhile. He gives me a back massage if my day was
particularly stressful and always puts a smile on my face. He is a good
man and a loving father and when it comes to romance his is priceless!
Michael, has to be the best husband in the world. He has no money, not a
lot of looks. What he has got is a beautiful spirit, and the most loving
heart I have ever seen. When he sees me his eyes sparkle, and he wears his
love for all to see.He is the kindest, most loving man I have ever known
in my 51 yrs. Mike is the man of my dreams, the man I never thought to
find. He is the other half of my soul.
I am married to
the most beautiful man on this earth. He treats me like a queen. He
leaves "love notes" throughout the house for me to find. We truly do love
each other more each day. We have been called the perfect couple many
times. We have to make the most of every moment together because he was
diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) in October, so we would be the
perfect choice to win the fantastic Romancing East Texas contest. It
would be the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
My husband and
I just got married in June of 2002. We had dated off and on for about 3
years. We both had been married before and had children by other
marriage. The most romantic thing about my husband is the way he loves
his children and mine. Our childrens biological parents are not involved
in their lives. My husband has raised his two girls on his own since they
were little and so have I. When we married he took on my children as if
they were his own. He does not miss a function or chance to talk to them
and most of all he does not talk bad about their biological father. Her
has taken on my son and taught him the "dad" things that a mother would
have a real hard time teaching. I know this probably not what you were
looking for as far as romantic but when you watch him interact with his
own children and with mine you see a family that has developed by
CHOICE!!!! In this time of families breaking down it is very nice to know
that the family is still alive and well!!! Together we have four children
and a grandchild. Three of the four children live with us and they are
all teenagers, yes it gets very hectic at times but he handles this so
well and we all thrive together as a FAMILY!!! PS He has some other very
romantic qualities too!!!!
I DON'T GET TO
SEE HIM A GREAT DEAL.HE DRIVES A TRUCK FOR WAL-MART.EVERYTIME HE COMES IN
THE DOOR HE PUTS HIS WORK ASIDE AND IS SO LOVING TOWARDS ME.HIS
THOUGHTS,HIS LOVE, AND HIS KIND HEART IS ALWAYS SO WARMING TO MY HEART.HE
IS THE BEST HUSBAND I COULD EVER ASK FOR. HE HAS BEEN THROUGH ALOT WITH ME
AND MY FAMILY AND HE IS ALWAYS STANDING AT MY SIDE. I HAVE A BROTHER THAT
HAS A BRAIN TUMOR AND DANNY LIVED WITH US WHILE HE WAS SO SICK AND T.J.
(MY HUSBAND) WAS SO HELPFUL AND CARING BUT DANNY IS DOING GREAT--THANK THE
LORD!! I ALSO LOST MY DAD TO CANCER TWO WEEKS AFTER WE FOUND OUT HE HAD
CANCER. THAT WAS A BLOW TO OUR FAMILY BUT T.J. WAS ALWAYS BY MY SIDE. HE
IS SO ROMANTIC WHEN WE ARE BEHIND CLOSE DOORS THAT I WILL HAVE TO LEAVE
THAT TO YOUR IMAGINATION.T.J. IS THE MOST CARING AND BIG-HEARTED
PERSON--THAT'S WHY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
