TYLER, TX (KLTV) - He's facing a challenge many adults could not, and now, East Texans are rallying around a remarkable little boy. A few months back, we introduced you to Aiden Cross. Aiden was diagnosed with an incurable disease called AHUS, Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. To help him find a cure for his disease, East Texans turned out at Sterling Grace jewelry store in Tyler, buying pendant crosses in Aiden's honor.
"Everyone is so good about praying for Aiden, and praying for our family, and lifting us up in prayer," said Christy Cross, Aiden's mom. "It just keeps us strong. It lifts us up on those days when it's really hard. We know that people are praying for us."
"I just wanted Christy and David to know that we're supporting them in their fight because it could be anybody's child or anybody's grandchild," said George and Sandra Butts.
Sterling grace will be open and selling Aiden's crosses tonight until seven.
