Alleged rapist wanted by Shreveport Police

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -The search is on in Shreveport for a man Shreveport Police say snatched a 14-year-old girl on her way to the bus stop early Wednesday morning.

Police say the man asked the teen for directions, then grabbed her, pulling her hoodie over her head and forced her into his vehicle at the intersection of Midway and Orla Aves.

The teen was then reportedly raped at a house in West Shreveport. Police say the suspect was driving a black or dark blue four door Sedan.

The suspect was also allegedly armed with a handgun and told the girl he would shoot her if she didn't cooperate.

The teen according to police was later dropped off near McDonald's at Greenwood Rd. and Jewella Ave.

He is described as a man in his mid twenties, approximately 6'2" tall, skinny build with a very dark complexion. He has short, wavy hair and a goatee on his chin only.
