GLADEWATER, TX (KLTV) - A morning at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum was right up 15-year-old Micah's Alley.

"I like advances in technology and things like that, like, how things have evolved over years," said Micah.

We met up with Micah to find out more about his desire to find a forever family before he finishes high school. Instantly you can tell Micah is very humorous and enjoys making people laugh. This sophomore is very outgoing and has never met a stranger. Micah likes school and makes the honor roll each nine weeks.

"I like to learn," said Micah. "I watch the science channel. I'll write notes down. I've down blue prints of my house to help them because they have to have one for their house."

He's even taking a class at school to learn how to draw blue prints. Micah has definite goals for college and needs a family who will give him support and encouragement as he finishes school and grows into a young man.

"I've always been an A&M fan and like they say what you call someone from A&M two years after graduation is boss," said Micah. "I want to own my own business."

He is thinking he wants to study engineering or architecture. It is important to Micah that he remain in the Gladewater School District. Micah wants to be adopted, but if he cannot remain in the district where he has formed relationships, he says does not want to be adopted. He also likes sports and is playing on the junior varsity team.

"In football, I play receiver and corner." said Micah.

He also plays baseball. Micah is very spiritual so attending church is a must. When it comes to his adoptive family, Micah would love someone to hang with.

"Siblings are ok," he said. "I'd really like to have a brother. Someone to hang out with."

It's also important for Micah to maintain contact with his sister and grandmother who live in the area. When asked if he had any wishes, sadly, it's something that would have to wait until heaven.

"I'd like to see my mom because she died when I was eight or nine so I'd like to see her," he said.

But, until then, he's looking for a family in Gladewater to show him the gift of love. If you'd like to know more about Micah call our Gift of Love hotline, toll-free, 1-888-kids-275.
