Longview murder/arson suspect turns self in overnight

LOGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The remaining suspect wanted in connection to the shooting death of a man and arson fire at 1215 Chappell Street in Longview has been taken into custody. Toronto Eldermek Lockridge, aka Trigger, was arrested at 2:30 Sunday morning.

Lockridge had been working with Longview Officers to turn himself in and arranged to do so at a restaurant located in the 200 block of West Loop 281.

Lockridge was arrested without incident and booked into the Gregg County Jail on murder and arson warrants.

Lockridge and another man, Brandon Quadnell Horne aka Bull, stand accused of murdering 33-year-old Kelvin Muckleroy on September 24, 2009. Firefighters located Muckleroy's body in the burning ruins of his home at 1215 Chappell Street.
