TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Two Chapel Hill High School students have been arrested after a school administrator saw one student with a medicine bottle giving another student a pill around lunchtime Monday.
According to Chapel Hill ISD Superintendent Joe Stubblefield, Joshua Baker, 17, and Ivan Morin, 17, were then taken to a classroom, but Baker resisted.
Stubblefield said that an ambulance was called to the school in case Morin experienced any adverse affects from swallowing medicine that was not prescribed to him. Baker had been prescribed the medicine for his broken arm.
Smith County Sheriff's Investigators arrested the two upperclassmen. Baker is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and simple assault (for pushing a deputy). Morin is charged with public intoxication.
