TYLER, TX (KLTV) - It was an afternoon at Chucky Cheese with games, pizza and his best friend. 9-year-old Thomas says the only thing that would make this day better is a forever family. He's very friendly and easy to talk to, and you'll soon learn there are two things Thomas loves to talk about.
"Sports and to be in the military," said Thomas.
And, if you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, his answers are along the same lines. A sports star or a pilot in the Air Force. But, for now, he just likes to do boy stuff.
"[I like] riding my bike, if my bike don't have a flat," said Thomas.
He will need a family that can provide him with a consistent routine and plenty of opportunities for activities that will keep him busy and on the go! He'd also like to go to Six Flags.
"I heard that they had a big slide," said Thomas. "I'd like to go down that. I'll go to splash town."
He also likes animals and wouldn't mind a pet or going to the zoo.
"[I like] parrots, ducks, cats, lions, anything - especially the peacock," said Thomas.
Well...not really the peacock...we found out later it was the roadrunner he really likes. And, it's no surprise what the patriotic boy's favorite colors are. Yep, you guessed it: red, white and blue.
Thomas is sometimes challenged by authority. He needs a strong male role model to steer him in the right direction. Thomas loves school and works hard to stay on the a/b honor roll. And he loves to work with numbers and letters.
"Math and spelling because I'm good at math and definitely math test," said Thomas.
Thomas also loves to write and can usually be found with a notebook where he loves to write down his latest stories. Thomas would do best in a home where he is one of the youngest children and where he can have plenty of one on one attention...in a family that can show Thomas the gift of love.
