Missing Fisherman Found At Lake Fork

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The search for a fisherman who fell out of his boat Friday at Lake Fork is over.

Searchers found the body of 63 year old John Henry Petton Junior of Garland just before 6:00 Saturday evening at Dale creek.   Petton was a contestant of the Big Bass Splash Tournament, which brings thousands of people to the lake.

The death is being ruled a drowning, and the body has been sent to Dallas for autopsy.

    On Monday the Associated Press released its top 25 preseason poll for college football. And for the third straight year, Texas A&M didn't make the cut. Starting fast though and moving their way up the polls in recent seasons hasn't been the problem. In fact, the Aggies, who have over a dozen East Texans on the roster, were number four in the initial playoff rankings last year.
