GLADEWATER, TX (KLTV) - After seeing our story on strange images on game camera's, Don Noble of Gladewater realized he had something similar.
"I was somewhat confused about it all," said Don. "I didn't know what to think. My wife and I discussed it several times."
On August 26th, Don's game camera on his deer lease near the Gladewater airport snapped an image.
"I'm not a person to get scared easily, but it is strange - really strange happening," said Janie Noble. "You just can't imagine! What could it be?"
Don's game cam takes a picture every five minutes and it's motion activated with a temperature sensor, and all of those variables factor into the mystery.
Strangely, in the image before, wildlife is seen, and the temperature gage reads 88 degrees. The next, only minutes later has no wildlife and it's 86 degrees. Don isn't sure what the connection is.
"[It's a] neon light floating above the ground," said Don. "That's my best way to describe it . Personally, I don't feel like it's something natural. I don't know, but I've never seen anything like it before."
And, there is something else. The image seems to have ridges, or fins that are very much like what paranormal researchers call the unexplained phenomenon of...rods. For Don, it's an eery feeling.
"I've been here 70 plus years and it's my first time to see anything like it," said Don. "I've given it a lot of thought and I can't come up with an answer for it."
Don says he has checked his game camera hundreds of times, but never come across an image like the latest one.
