Released by the Henderson PD:
HENDERSON, TX - At approx 9 p.m. on 09-15-09 a search warrant was served in the 600 Blk of Harkless in Henderson. Those participating in the serving of the search warrant included officers and/or agents from the Henderson Police Department (Patrol Division), The Henderson Police Department TACT Team and the D.E.A. Task Force.
The search of this residence resulted in the seizure of approx. 7 grams of crack cocaine, an unknown quantity of prescription pills and Marijuana. Two arrests were made for each of the following charges:
Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (1st Degree Felony), Child Endangerment (imminent danger of bodily injury a State Jail Felony).
In addition to the arrest of these two people on the above listed charges two other individuals were arrested for Interference with the Duties of a Public Official (Class B Misd.) when they came upon the scene while the officers were conducting their operation. These two started by creating a disturbance at the scene which drew the attention of area residents and that in turn drew a number of officers away from their assigned duties (securing the perimeter and making sure the officers inside were safe from harm of someone coming inside the house while the search was being conducted.
All four subjects were booked into the Rusk County Jail and bond has yet to be set.
The arrested suspects are Rodney Lacy and Tynia Anthony. Bond was set at $50,000 (each) for the drug charge and a $5,000 (each) was set for the Endangering charge. Both subjects are from Henderson.
