GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The 60th Annual Longview Jaycees Gregg County Fair and Expo, dedicated to BP America, Inc., will be held September 8th through 12th. For the past 59 years, the Gregg County Fair has been sponsored by the Longview Jaycees and is conducted by Billy G. Clay, Fair Manager.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Pepper is the official drink of the Gregg County Fair.

Fair GENERAL ADMISSION is $5.00. Children 6 and under are FREE. Senior Adults will be admitted FREE each day. Hours are 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 12:00 noon through 11:00 p.m. Saturday. Sneak-A-Peek, sponsored by Blaze Radio, will be Tuesday only, with $13.00 armbands for those thrill seekers who do not have time to keep up with ride coupons. Wednesday is Dr. Pepper and 99.3 Talk FM Radio night: Bring 6 empty Dr. Pepper cans for FREE admission. Friday is KYKX Radio Friday Night Sports Night, presented by Dr. Pepper: $1.00 off gate admission with stub from any local sporting event. Saturday is Family Day sponsored by KYKX Radio: Buy 1 gate admission, get 1 free from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. All week long raffle tickets for a $1,000 shopping spree brought to you by Maness Furniture, Real Furniture for Real People, will be sold to benefit the Longview Thanksgiving Food Drive. The Exhibit Building will display a large variety of product and service booths from area merchants and organizations. Seek free health advice, product information from area organizations, Avon, Watkins, candles, jewelry, and much more will be available. Outside Exhibitors include a large variety of food vendors and novelties of all types.

Free nightly entertainment: Show-Me Swine Racers, brought to you by Papa Murphy's Pizza, Show- Me Safari Petting Zoo compliments of Dr. Pepper, Eugene Wilkes Magic Show, and local bands, sponsored in part by BP America, Inc.

Century 21 Carnival will present this year's midway and will include some of the most popular carnival rides such as the Big Wheel, Orbiter, Crazy Dance, Kamikaze, and a large variety of carnival games to test your skills. Kiddie Land will have rides designed with the little ones in mind. Height restrictions will be placed on all rides and attractions.
