NASHVILLE, TN (KLTV/KTRE) - Former San Augustine Wolf and SFA wide reveiver Dominique Edison has made the Tennessee Titans opening day roster.

The 6th round pick back in April confirmed with KLTV's Coleman Swierc and KTRE's Nick James that he was informed by Titan's head coach Jeff Fisher that he had made the team.

"They pulled me out of the weight room," said Edison, in a phone call with KLTV & KTRE, "and when they do that, it is normally not good, but the coach Fisher told me that I had made it, so when I went to team stretching, there was only about 50 of us, and that is when I really realized that it was real."

Edison may have solidified his position on the roster with a breakout 5 catch, 90 yard and two score game last night againt the Jets, in the Titans last pre-season game.

According to many media outlets, Edison out played fellow bubble reveivers LaVell Hawkins and Paul Williams.

"I just tried to do what I do," said Edison, "it was a slow process at first, but then I realized that if I play the way I can, then I can do this."

Edison says he will be listed as the 4th wide out when the Titans open their season next Thursday against the Steelers.
