TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tyler Police are investigating a bizarre armed robbery, that allegedly started with a door-to-door salesman.
It started with two men pretending to be door to door salesmen. It happened around 4:30 Friday morning at an apartment in the 27-hundred block of South Broadway.
Witnesses told police two men came to the apartment claiming to sell paint-ball guns. Shortly after they left, another man with a rifle and a ski mask entered the apartment, taking the residents cell phones, a laptop and a video game system. No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call Tyler Police.
