Baby Ingests Cocaine and Meth-amphetamine

A troubling case in Longview as Child Protective Services has taken custody of a baby found to have ingested cocaine and meth-amphetamine.

CPS workers say a one year old boy was hospitalized on Tuesday for being drowsy and non-responsive.

Tests showed that the child had illegal drugs in his bloodstream. The parents names aren't being released. They are being investigated as suspects along with anyone else that came in contact with the child on the day of the incident.

No charges have been filed.

The good news is the baby is expected to recover.
