Longview business robbed at knifepoint

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Police in Longview are still looking for a suspect who robbed an employee of an animal hospital at knifepoint yesterday.

Police say around 3:30 Friday a female employee of Kimbrough Animal Hospital on Judson road was robbed by a suspect who displayed a knife and demanded money. After taking two bank bags, the suspect fled into a nearby neighborhood, chased by his female victim. A K-9 unit was brought in for tracking the suspect, but no trace was found.

Police say the robber got away with around four thousand dollars. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, wearing jeans and a blue bandana.

Anyone with information is asked to call Longview police.
