A Hallsville woman is arrested and charged with child endangerment, after an ordeal where a baby is left locked in a running vehicle. When she was first questioned by police 41 year old Dlinda Costello of Hallsville claimed it wasn't her truck. She said someone else was caring for her child. Just after three yesterday afternoon her 13 month old boy was spotted by witnesses locked in a running truck at a parking lot off Loop 281. Police and emergency units were called to get the infant out. After she finally admitted she owned the truck, she accompanied police to the truck where her son was removed unharmed... but leaving her to answer why she did it. The baby is unharmed and is in the father's custody, while Costello remains in the Gregg County Jail on 25-hundred dollars bond.
