LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - 24-year-old Tiffany Michelle Little and 23-year old James Michael Guin are charged with abandoning or endangering a child. The couple was arrested near the Cloud Nine bar in Longview, with a 3-year-old and a 3-week-old in the van with the engine running.

"My bouncer walked outside he noticed there was some kids in a mini van parked here on the side," said Patrick Sheffield, a DJ at Cloud Nine gentlemen's club. "He just happened to walk in front of the van and you can see through the front wind shield and he saw the baby right in front of the car seat."

Sheffield said he saw Guin and Little the night they left their kids alone in a van.

"We come out, and sure enough there was a 3-year-old in a car seat in a van there was a towel over the window," said Sheffield. "We came back in and told them that they couldn't just leave there kids in the car unattended."

Once the parents got kicked out of the gentlemen's club, they drove across the street to the Cotton Club. They parked the van behind the club with the kids still inside.

"About 10 minutes later she walked back in the club," said Sheffield. "We're thinking she had taken her kids to the mother's like she had stated. So, we didn't think nothing about it."

Little had left the kids in the running van behind the club and returned back to Cloud Nine where she and Guin drank for about an hour.

"There's no telling what could have happened to those kids," said Sheffield. "Because nobody was there. The van wasn't even locked. Windows rolled up with no supervision. I can't understand that! There's no way to justify that!"

Both Little and Guin were arraigned before Judge B.H. Jameson, and they have wrap sheets and mug shots to prove it. Little for theft and Guin for possession of marijuana and graffiti. As for the well-being of their kids, family members tell us they are healing.

"I know for a fact that Camryn was extremely frighten," said Guin's mother, Joy Whitlock. "It's my understanding, from his other grandmother that has the children right now, that he was having nightmares and screaming out in his sleep."

They are nightmares for a 3-year-old little boy, all caused by the actions of his parents.

"Not having a baby sitter is no excuse," said Sheffield.

We tried to interview family members of both Guin and Little, but none of them wanted to go on camera. Little is out on bond and Guin is still in jail.
