Salvation Army Keeps East Texans Warm

The Salvation Army in Tyler is giving East Texans without heat a way to stay warm while it's cold outside.

70 new electric heaters donated by the Lions Club of Tyler Thursday were put to good use.

They're being given to those in need. The 70 heaters are going fast though, and should be gone by Monday.

That's why the Salvation Army needs more heaters, warm blankets and coats to give to those in need.

If you want to help, you can drop off donations at their location at 633 north Broadway in Tyler.
