RUSK COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Perhaps the biggest heroin bust in Rusk County history occurred last night, leading to an arrest and confiscation of more than fifty thousand dollars worth of drugs.
Around 6:00 pm Monday night, the Rusk County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on a house on County Road 166, near the Laird Hill Community.
Investigators seized heroin, cocaine, firearms, stolen property, and an unreleased amount of money.
The estimated street value of the seized heroin is approximately $50,000, and the cocaine was valued at approximately $5,000.
A fifty-three year-old black male was arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a first degree felony.
