TYLER, TX (KLTV) - More than 80 men per night are staying at the East Texas Rescue Mission of Tyler and many of them are having to sleep on the floor.

The Mission has beds for 45, but they're trying to change that. Through donations, they've closed in what was a loading dock on the building and added wiring, lights and insulation. But, without one more expensive piece, the room can't be slept in.

"We cannot sleep people in this area out here without air conditioning," said Tony Chung, president of East Texas Rescue Mission. "This is East Texas. We have the insulation, the wiring, the framing is up, but we need some folks to come alongside us and help us to get some air conditioning."
