TYLER, TX (KLTV) - 8-year-old Jay Bambeck is still collecting cans, hoping to cash them in and raise enough money to buy a new van with a handicap ramp which will prevent his mother, Amanda Bambeck, from having to keep physically picking him up and placing him in his wheelchair - a task that has taken a toll on his mother's back.
Jay suffers from Cerebral Palsy, a non-contagious condition that causes physical disability in human development - there is no known cure for Cerebral Palsy.
If you'd like to donate cans to Jay, there are several options:
Contact Amanda Bambeck at (903) 944-4271 or send her an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Or, drop the cans off at Tyler Iron and Metal: 1630 WNW Loop 323, Tyler TX.
