SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -  Another bat has tested positive for rabies in Smith County.

Health officials say the bat was found Friday in a swimming pool at a home in the 13000 block of farm-to-market road 346 near Flint.

This is the seventh confirmed case of rabies in Smith County, including three in Tyler.

Health officials want to remind you not to handle wild animals, especially a bat that is not moving because it is most likely sick or injured.
