Tyler Little Dribblers

  The Little Dribblers basketball league has now been created in Tyler. There are nearly 175 young men in elementary school who were involved in the first week of games. Most of the young men who have joined on, played previously in the Whitehouse league.

  The expectation is that this league may double in the next year. Little Dribblers President Ron Hallmark said "There has been alot of interest in the Tyler area concerning basketball, and we feel the Little Dribblers is a great organization". The Tyler Little Dribblers play on Saturday's at Robert E. Lee High School.

    KLTV 7 Sports brought you the story of Max Mathis earlier this month, as the Van native was headed to the Junior High Rodeo Nationals.  Well Mathis is now on his way back to East Texas from a very successful trip.  Mathis finished 2nd in tie-down roping with an average of 23.76 seconds.
