Stabbed woman stumbles into Tyler Police Department

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - One woman is arrested and another hospitalized after a stabbing victim stumbled into the Tyler Police Department.

Police say the victim, 39-year-old Vera Jet of Tyler was stabbed multiple times during a fight with two other women.

It happened in the 100 block of North Hill avenue around 3 Sunday morning. Officers quickly located the suspect, 44-year-old Deborah Washington, and arrested her on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jet was treated and released from Trinity Mother Francis hospital.
