Longview dealership makes appeal to GM

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Sisk Buick of Longview says they received a notice from GM that Sisk is one of the dealerships that GM wants to cut ties with. The dealership has been open since the fifties, and has been selling Buicks since 1991.

Owner Craig Sisk says GM is telling him that they don't want a dealership that only sells the Buick brand. But, Sisk says his dealership has proven to be a top single point franchise over the years.

"They've given us goals of how many Buicks to sell and we sell three times as many Buicks as we're supposed to and our customer satisfaction has been in the top three percent of the nation and so we feel like we've earned it and we want to be apart of the new General Motors," said Buick dealer Craig Sisk.

Sisk says that as of right now they're open for business and plan on staying open. They say their dealership in mount pleasant will not be affected.
