KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee wide receiver Denarius Moore has undergone surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
A team spokesman says doctors placed a screw in Moore's foot on Wednesday to repair the break.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound junior from Tatum, Texas, is expected to return to full participation in eight to 10 weeks, which means he could miss a few games.
Moore caught 11 passes, averaging 24.6 yards per catch in 2008.
His two touchdown catches were for 52 yards and 63 yards.
Two of Moore's fellow receivers are also recovering from injury.
Gerald Jones underwent surgery in June to repair a broken wrist, and Austin Rogers tore a knee ligament.
