Dallas man pleads guilty to robbing East Texas bank

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A Dallas man has plead guilty to robbery charges before U.S. Magistrate Judge Judith K. Guthrie.

Freddy Lee Criss, 47, robbed the First National Bank of Emory April 30, 2009. Information presented in court revealed that he had ordered bank customers to the floor and demanded cash from tellers. With the stolen money in hand, Criss fled from the bank. After a vehicle chase, he was captured by authorities.

A sentencing date has not yet been set. Criss faces up to 20 years in prison.
