JACKSONVILLE, TX - A major leak has occurred on the water system on FM 1910 and the Craft-Turney WSC employees are working effortlessly to repair the water system main line in this area.
Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the system, (Craft-Turney Water Supply) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption in the area on
FM 1910 (going East) including County Roads 1714, 1713, 1712, 1711, 1707, and 1706 and all the areas in between. Also including from the Intersection of CR 1714 and FM 347 going South on FM 347 towards Dialville.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, water system officials will notify you.
