CrimeFighters: Charges of credit card abuse, assault and prostitution

By Taylor Hemness - bio | email

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - We added three new faces to the wanted board, including two from Wood County, one from Jacksonville.

According to Jacksonville police, Amy Marie Huttash is accused of a state jail felony of credit or debit card abuse. She allegedly used stolen credit cards to make three purchases at three different Jacksonville businesses in late May. She's 5'1, and weighs 130 pounds.

If you have any idea where Huttash could be, e-mail your tip to crimefighters@kltv.com, or call 903-586-2546.

Authorities are searching for two fugitives in Wood County. The first is accused of a pretty bizarre crime, while the second is charged with a crime that is very rare on CrimeFighters.

The first is Cody Mathew McDonald. He is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after authorities say he allegedly beat an elderly man with large tree limbs. He's 20 years old, 5'5", and lives in the Hawkins area.

If you know where Cody is, call the Wood County sheriff's office at 903-763-2274, or e-mail us your tip at crimefighters@kltv.com.

Finally, still in Wood County, we have Katherine Gustafson, who's wanted on charges of prostitution.

Wood County authorities told us that Gustafson has been convicted of prostitution before, and this time she is also wanted for bail jumping and failure to appear. She's from the Tyler area, but was last seen in Yantis. If you know where she could be, e-mail your tip to crimefighters@kltv.com, or call the Wood County sheriff's office at 903-763-2274.

The John Tyler Lions always seem to look sharp in their uniforms. But thanks to East Texas lawyer Keith Miller, the Lions will look better and play safer. Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag. Miller's donation of 7,500 dollars, will go to help the lions cover that cost. "Keith Miller's been a big sponsor of John Tyler High School football program for years now.  I know it's...More >>

The last time we talked about the Kilgore Bulldogs, quarterback Buddy Jackson and wide receiver Jonathan Shepherd were apart of the 800-meter relay team that won gold at the 2017 state track meet. But today they are back in the pads, and looking to turn their speed into touchdowns.  Competing in District 9-4A, Kilgore has always had a strong run game that helped them become the 2016 District Champs. However, in order to surpass their opponents this season, including Carthag...More >>
