New M.R.I. Technology in Longview

A new piece of medical technology is bringing patients from all over the U.S. to Longview. At Open Imaging of Longview, a state of the art magnetic resonance imaging procedure is giving doctors and patients the clearest images to date. It's called high field open M.R.I., and can scan images down to the smallest blood vessel. The scanning machine uses top and bottom magnets, and this latest technology leaves nothing unseen. The images can be immediately posted to the web for doctors to study, before the patient even gets off the table and dressed. Longview is one of only 3 Texas cities to have the technology, and only Baylor University has a similar scanning system.
