TYLER, TX (KLTV) - McKinnon Honda in Tyler is closing its doors indefinitely.
On Tuesday, a longtime employee cited the economic recession as the cause for the closure. However, Wednesday, Shane Grimes, the store manager, said he was not notified of the closure until Wednesday morning, and that he can not confirm the exact reason the McKinnon Honda is ending their business in Tyler.
In a written statement issued Wednesday, Grimes said:
"Those who have ordered and paid for parts will be contacted. We will make arrangements for parts to be picked up or will ship them to the address the customer chooses. Arrangements will also be made with our service customers to pick up their units. Some repairs are still being made. We hope to have resolved all issues by the middle of next week."
