LEVERETT'S CHAPEL (KLTV) - We first brought you the story Monday as it broke from Leverett's Chapel - a tragic story.

10-year-old Justin Clinton was mauled to death by two pit bulls. Rusk County Sheriff's investigators said the boy was riding his skateboard down the road to meet a friend, when about 12:30 p.m. the attack happened. Details are pending in their investigation.

In the meantime, Justin's family is mourning the senseless tragedy - their loss of an innocent life, and are wanting justice.

"He was just riding his skateboard," said Justin's aunt, Becky Long. "He wasn't bothering anybody. He wasn't bothering anybody to get this done to him. 10 years old. His life is gone."

"I can assure you that the Rusk County Sheriff's Office is doing all that we can do and all that we know to do to see that we can bring some type of closure," said investigator Charles Helton.

The two pit bulls have been euthanized. We met with both the victim's family as well as the dogs' owners and will have complete reports for you tonight on KLTV.
