NEW YORK, NY - The amusement park company Six Flags is seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Despite having a great year in 2008, the company says it needs to reorganize and get rid of $1.8 billion of debt.  The company says the move will not affect the operation of its 20 theme parks in 11 states, Mexico and Canada.
