By Courtney Lane - bio | email

Two East Texas teenagers tragically lose their parents and now need your help.

Troopers say Wednesday night Jose and Patricia Gonzalez of Tyler, along with their teenage son, were driving down County Road 37.  It was around 10 p.m., when strong storms were hitting.  DPS troopers say the Gonzalez's ran over part of a downed power line, catching the truck on fire.  Their son jumped out to safety, but his parents were electrocuted.

Now, this 15 year-old boy and his 16 year-old sister are left alone.  We're meeting with family friends who are now organizing an effort to help.  We'll give you the details tonight on KLTV News at 6.
