Police confiscated pounds of meth-amphetamine from a residence on the 2400 block of Fairview Thursday. Police searched the home of 24-year old Benny Elliff after reports came in that he had been trying to buy large quantities of nasal decongestant from Gladewater stores. Authorities say they found enough material to make 17 pounds of meth-amphetamine, about $200,000 worth, inside his house. Elliff was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. He could face up to 99 years in prison.
