An attack against a teenager in the Gresham/Flint area has left many Smith County residents concerned.
Residents in the Tall Timbers edition, just one of many Gresham subdivisions, say they're paying extra attention to whose in their neighborhood these days.
"Nervous, I had a hard time sleeping last night," says Gresham resident Valerie Hudson.
"It makes us uneasy, says Jerry Yandell. "Because this is a pretty tight community."
And businesses are feeling the affects too. One young woman working at a flower shop in Gresham says she learned about the latest attack early Tuesday. The business next to her kept their doors locked all day.
"It's kind of frightening to come to work everyday," she says. To hear about this, knowing that customers could walk in your shop and you don't know if they're gonna be customers, or you're going to be their next victim."
Major Lusk whose leading the investigation for the Smith County Sheriff's department says they don't want residents to be panicked.
