Salvation Army Angel Tree Needs Your Help

Casey Baker picked an angel for the first time today. She headed to Gap Kids and Sears to buy her angle some clothes.

Her angel wanted some necessities, a winter coat, socks, pajamas even a pair of jeans. Casey didn't think that was to much to ask for.

"I just kind of thought what it would be like for these kids who don't have anything, who don't even know what the Christmas experience is like."

Casey says helping one child meant more to her than she ever expected.

"It was real exciting shopping for someone who I have no idea who it is and just kind of thinking what her face will look like when she opens up all these presents for her and how excited she'll be to actually have something on Christmas Day."

The hardest part of picking out the gifts, picking the perfect watch for a little seven year old.

Finally Casey got everything on her angels list. It didn't take long at all, and thanks to Casey, at least one little girl, one little angel will have a Merry Christmas but there are still more angels on the tree who need you to make their holiday bright.

Making a difference is easy. Just come to the Tyler mall or the Longview mall and pick up an angel. You've only got nine days left to pick one up. If you can't get to the mall, you can send a donation to the Salvation Army and they will get the gifts for these angels. Just mail it to "Angel Tree" care of the Salvation Army P.O.
