WebXtra: Bringing baseball back to one East Texas town

COMO, TX (KLTV) - Como City Field in the heart of Como, Texas faces a dilemma. When the local little league disbanded ten years ago, the field fell into disrepair. It didn't take long before broken lights, bleachers, and an overgrown field replaced what had once been a gem in the middle of town. Children once able to compete in local leagues are now forced to travel to neighboring towns to play, a luxury not all can afford.

Como native Chad Bult decided to change that. Kellogg's Frosted Flakes  advertised a competition offering to help rebuild America's playing fields. Frosted Flakes would cut a $15,000 check to 30 lucky finalists who are in need of a playing field makeover. Bult submitted Como's City Field into the competition and has now made it in the top 100 semi-finalists but the town needs your help to win.
